Surabaya is a city located in eastern Indonesia. It is the second-largest city in all of Indonesia with a population of nearly three million people and almost six million in the metropolitan population. It is known by locals as "the city of heroes" and is a center for commercial and seaport trading. Like most other cities in Asia, the nightlife in Surabaya can get lively, particularly when the sun goes down. Here are the best clubs in the city of Surabaya.
Kowloon International Club: This is not only one of the oldest clubs in Surabaya, but is also one of the most crowded every night. The club is a restaurant by day and turns into a bar and eventually a club late at night. Be sure to check out the Club Cesar lounge for some unique house music and stop by the karaoke room. There is a VIP room and this exclusive club can get very expensive.
Club 360: Like many other clubs in Surabaya, this place can get very crowded and is the perfect place to enjoy some great entertainment. The music is great and the atmosphere is excellent. Come early and enjoy a few drinks at the bar before moving out onto the dance floor and partying well into the night.
Top Ten: Located in one of the largest shopping areas in Surabaya, Top Ten is a happening place, particularly on the weekends. Come to the shopping center to spend a little money and stop over at Top Ten when the sun goes down. It would be best advised to arrive early as this place can get over-crowded.
Colors: While live music is not popular in all clubs of Indonesia, it is always found at Colors. The workers here are friendly to visitors and locals. There is also karaoke that can be performed with the help of the band. Prepare for a full evening as the band plays until close. The drinks are cheap compared to most other places.
Tavern: This is a perfect place to lounge out and enjoy some good music. Located inside the Hyatt Regency, Tavern is one of many clubs that is located in a hotel. This is the most popular of all the clubs located in hotels. Grab a drink, sit down and enjoy some music with friends and locals.
After a crazy night of dancing, sit down at one of the nicest restaurants in Surabaya for breakfast or lunch.
